In the early 1990s, Herman Landsman, Derek Thomas and I were part of a group of 100 skydivers that jumped into an exotic beach location in Southern Thailand. After a great dinner brought in by the Royal Thai Air Force helicopters, and a fun evening around the campfires, our return to the mainland was interrupted by waves too big for our small boats.

Fortunately, our hosts were able to secure a large Burmese fishing boat to come gather us off the beach and take us back to our hotel. We looked like a bunch of refugees as we sailed through the cool evening breeze!

Future goals and events:
Hosting a 36-way event in Dallas in August 2023, compete in the US Nationals in September 2023 and new adventures in the coming season.
